Sandra Bullock has declared that she will be taking an indefinite hiatus from acting. The actress recently admitted that she is “burnt out” and needs to take a break from her career to focus on herself.
Her decision follows the release of her most recent film, The Lost City. Bullock’s character, an author who has written a series of novels about a handsome hero named Alan (played by Channing Tatum), is at the center of the action comedy.
Putting Herself First
The 57-year-old spoke to the Hollywood Reporter about her decision and what she planned to accomplish during her time off. “I don’t want to be beholden to anyone’s schedule other than my own,” Bullock had claimed.
Since the release of her latest film, it has been raking in good reviews so far and fans seem to absolutely love it. This could be a good start for Sandra Bullock and her break as it could leave her with a clear conscious on her last project.
