Ezra Miller Manages to Dodge Massive Sentence and Penalty

It seemed like there were never-ending news headlines about the actor’s peculiar behavior in 2022. DCU star Miller was detained twice in Hawaii, once for unruly behavior and harassment and once for second-degree assault that resulted in a head injury to the victim. Ezra Miller, an actor whose Wikipedia “Career” section is longer than their “Controversies and legal issues” section, escaped 26 years in prison for the felony burglary and unlawful trespassing crimes that occurred last year.

The Big Deal

The Standing Rock Sioux tribal court has looked at their relationship with activist Tokata Iron Eyes, which is believed to have begun when Miller was 23 and Iron Eyes was 12 years old. Miller responded by making fun of the police’s search for them and referring to themselves as a Native American Messiah. There were numerous further incidents that followed, and after they were accused of breaking into a private residence in Stamford, Vermont and stealing bottles, a Miller spokesman said that they were currently receiving treatment for “complicated mental health concerns.”

Huge Decisions to Make

The Superior Court in Bennington, Vermont, according to the Associated Press, let Miller to consent to a suspended sentence of 89 to 90 days in jail, a $500 fine, a $192 surcharge, and a year’s worth of probation. The two more counts against them were also dismissed, including the one for felony burglary, which carries a 25-year prison term. Today, Miller will show up in court to accept this plea agreement.

Surprisingly, despite the events’ spiraling out of control, Warner Bros. chose to keep working with the man who plays The Flash. According to Variety, a few Warner Bros officials are okay with Miller and The Flash staying in the updated DC Universe as long as Miller remains out of the spotlight and the show doesn’t bomb.
