Director of Blood and Honey Movie Starts on Peter Pan Adaptation

Peter Pan: Neverland Nightmare, a horror-based adaptation of another beloved fable, will be created and worked on by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the upcoming Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey director.

Starting Off

Whether Frake-Waterfield will directly employ any of J.M. Peter Pan, who lives in Neverland and is regarded as “the boy who never grows up,” is the leader of a gang of other kids who also don’t want to grow up, known as the Lost Boys, and he draws inspiration from Barrie’s works for his film.

How We All See It

Peter Pan is best known for the Disney cartoon rendition, but the character itself, which has nothing to do with Disney, is in the public domain, so people are free to use him anyway they see fit.

There have been many Peter Pan adaptations over the years, such as the film: Hook starring Robin Williams in which he portrays an adult Peter Pan who has forgotten all about Neverland until Captain Hook kidnaps his children. While previous adaptations have been positive, this may change a lot of our views about the boy who never grows up!
